Midea just entered China's fast changing IT service market.
The problem was each BU has built minor apps for each of them, as a result the whole ecosystem was missing holistic approach as a brand.

UXI Shanghai collected all features and create feature maps.
We did focus group interview to evaluate feature values and connect them in usages scenarios.

Features
After series of research and interviews, we boiled down to some key values
At the beginning, the goal of project was merging all features of Midea apps on app store. And as one can easily expect, it was not a good user experience.
We could successfully connect features with good feedback, to Midea's strong kitchen product portfolio.
Key take-away of this app is it is not only a home connectivity app, but it can also help you with keep you in a healthy diet. In the end, we're building more user centered IOT experience.
